The Curchin Group, LLC, a mid-sized, full-service accounting firm based in Red Bank, N.J., announced today that Mary’s Place by the Sea and the Monmouth County SPCA, two locally-based nonprofit organizations, will be receiving all proceeds from the firm’s 2016 annual indoor miniature golf tournament for charity, The Curchin Open.
The event takes place indoors at Curchin’s office in Red Bank on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 from 4pm to 7pm. Curchin is offering sponsorship opportunities to local businesses that would like to help the selected charities as well as raise their profile in the community. Mary’s Place by the Sea
Located in Ocean Grove, NJ, Mary’s Place by the Sea is a respite home where women allow themselves a quiet rest during their cancer journey. Integrative services are provided that complement their medical treatment during overnight and day visits. Guests may receive an array of modalities such as oncology massage, gentle yoga and walks by the ocean, all free of charge. Located in Eatontown, NJ, the Monmouth County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) was founded in 1945 and is dedicated to fostering the general wellbeing of our community’s homeless, neglected and abused animals and arranges for their successful adoption. Last year, with the support of almost 40 corporate and individual sponsors and dozens of participants, the 10th Annual Curchin Open raised $16,500 for Lunch Break, Inc. and Monmouth Day Care Center Inc., both of Red Bank. Since the event started in 2005, the firm has raised more than $136,500.
