It’s Not Too Late to Let Your Members Know…June 4, 2015

The filing deadline for New Jersey’s property tax relief program has been extended until October 15, 2015.  The 2014 Senior Freeze Property Tax Reimbursement Program for senior and disabled New Jersey residents originally had a June 1, 2015 filing cutoff, but State Treasurer Andrew Sidamon-Eristoff announced the extension last week to ensure that all that are eligible have the opportunity to apply for this benefit.

Reimbursement checks are expected to be mailed in mid-July to those qualifying recipients who applied by the original June 1 deadline.  Eligible applicants filing after June 1, 2015 will be processed and delivered in a later batch.
